Greetings!
My name is Les Fister and I am currently an associate director with the Lonza MES Center of Excellence. My MES experienced started in 2001 with Pfizer and POMS (old school, before POMSnet came along), then going to Lonza in 2007 to head up the Portsmouth Syncade MES project. Lonza has 21 separate Syncade production systems across three sites.
I've implemented Syncade integration with DeltaV, SAP, LIMS, EDWs, PI, scheduling systems and various bench-top devices. Lots of Syncade behavior development over the years. Seems I always have the Emerson Syncade Order Management WebServices document open for something new...
An open MES forum is a great idea, and I'm glad Andy told us about this forum at the recent Emerson UAB meeting. Looking forward to some great collaboration!
